When an emergency occurs, First Responders put their lives on the line to protect and enhance our Country and way of life. Often times they are helping people they have never met, and might not have anything in common with. We can all learn a lesson by the continual selfless jobs these individuals complete.
This has never been more present than during the recent fires and subsequent mudslides that Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties experienced. When our local community needed help, over 8,500 First Responders came from multiple states to save our community.
